2018 has been an exciting year as we continue to expand and grow our business to new communities! It's been a busy one, but we have been so happy to have you along for the ride. So we thought we would do a "year in review" of sorts and highlight some of our favorite memories of 2018!
Right off the bat, we were happy to announce the signing of our 2nd location in the Philadelphia area for Center City! A part of the new East Market development, we are due to open VERY soon and can't wait to join Wawa, Iron Hill, TJ Maxx, and other neighbors in this awesome spot in the heart of the city.
Also in 2018, we continued to get involved in our surrounding neighborhood communities. We sponsored both the Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia and the UMD Terps Cycling teams, helping our two newest restaurants make an impact in the King of Prussia and Riverdale Park communities. Additionally, we did a back to school supply drive for schools involving all of our locations. We loved getting to impact the lives of children through this program, giving them much needed supplies, and seeing their smiling, excited faces along the way. In October, we started a new project, working in conjunction with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to raise over $11,000 for the organization. This is in addition to our annual breast cancer awareness campaign with Living in Pink, DC. Continuing our Thanksgiving tradition, we stopped by N Street Village and made turkey burritos for their guests and residents to enjoy. Needless to say, we've been busy in our communities this year!
One of our most exciting moves in 2018 was launching our brand new menu design! With a few new options on there and some old favorites too, we had a blast launching the design and new favorites, and especially loved seeing your feedback! With new additions like all day "breakfast way," the California Burrito, and Itza (our vegetarian protein option), we continue to expand our offering and look to accommodate all who visit us, regardless of dietary restrictions. Additionally, we launched a burrito catering option, perfect for lunch on the go for a classroom, sports team, or business meeting! With your favorite toppings and meats, this new option wraps the flavors of DT up in a delicious tortilla. Anyone else getting hungry?
So, what's next for us? 2019 is going to be a big year!! Starting with the opening of new restaurants in Center City Philadelphia, Silver Spring, MD, and Abington, PA, we have some major plans for expansion in the works. You ask, and we listen! We can't wait to bring our delicious cuisine to the whole region, and nation-wide some day! Make sure to check out all of our social media outlets for the latest on the next new stop for DT.
Lastly, but definitely not least, we know it's hard to get back into the swing of things after the holidays. We are here to help by kicking off 2019 with FREE COFFEE all month long with the purchase of a breakfast entree or tacos! Breakfast tacos and coffee to wake you up? That works for us. Additionally, we will be offering free coffee with all breakfast catering orders! Be the real MVP of the party! We want to start off the new year strong, don't you?
