District Taco is coming in hot in 2018! We are so excited to announce that we have officially signed the lease on our second location in Philadelphia, downtown on Market Street! A part of the new East Market project, we are excited to continue to serve our Philadelphia fans as we grow!
As we looked back, 2017 was one of the best years yet. With the addition of three new locations in three different states, we had an extremely successful year growing to new communities and creating new jobs. This new restaurant opening, will mark over 400 people employed across 13 restaurants.
"We have been working hard since day one. All we had then was just one taco stand and one employee, myself. Now, along with my team, we are working to improve District Taco every single day so we can provide each and every customer with an awesome experience and delicious food," says CEO, Osiris Hoil. "Most of all, it makes me extremely proud to think that this story started in 2008 when I was laid off and now, we are creating new careers for those that need one. We're making a difference, creating an impact, and generating new opportunities!"
Mixing our DC flare with a touch of Philly, we are excited to explore a new neighborhood and work with a slightly different community than our first store in King of Prussia Town Center. Rocky didn’t give up, so why should we? We’re ready to embrace the community and bring our Yucatan inspired meals to the heart of Philadelphia!
