Set up’s as easy as 1-2-3.

Follow the simple steps below and you’ll be enjoying your Taco Bar in no time.

Step 1

Make sure you have a flat, stable surface for set up. Start by unpacking everything and setting the large pans in the provided wire racks. (Each large pan will come pre-packed with three smaller food pans.)

Step 2

Remove one of the smaller food pans from each large pan, and add water to the large pan until it’s about 1" to 1 1/4" inch deep, so that the water can transfer heat to the pans. Replace the food pan once you’ve added enough water to the large pan.

Step 3

Review these safety instructions and the warnings on the fuel cans, then pry the lids off and light them carefully. Once lit, set them in the notched out areas in the wire racks beneath the large pans.

Serving is a snap.

Whether you have plenty of room to spread out or need to work with a smaller space, we’ve got suggestions to make serving easy.

Smaller spaces

If you’re setting up in a corner or on a small table, you can arrange the two page pans in a square, as pictured.

Larger spaces

If you’re setting up in a larger space or on a long table, you can line everything up in a single row.

Suggested layout

We suggest starting with plates, napkins and forks. Then placing tortillas and proteins first, followed by rice, beans and veggies. Place cold toppings, dips and salsas at the end of the line along with chips.

Service utensils

You can use serving tongs or forks for tortillas, carnitas, lettuce, cabbage, cheese, chips and churritos. For everything else, serving spoons or individual spoons work best.

Wrapping up.

When you’re done, make sure to safely break everything down.

Breaking down

When finished, carefully use a non-flammable item to cover and extinguish the fuel cans — do not attempt to blow out the flames! Allow the water and dishes to cool before disassembling everything.
